You may have heard of Victoria Hall before. You may even live there.

Designed for students who want something different to university accommodation or shared housing, the award winning accommodation has modern complexes and hosts hundreds students from all over the world.
We spoke to Helen McCann, Regional Manager at Victoria Hall Liverpool to ask her about the workings behind the accommodation and some top tips for moving in.
What is the most important thing for a student bring?
A smile! The Scouse sense of humour is legendary. But on a more practical level don’t forget your alarm clock!
What is the oddest thing a student has brought with them for the new term?
A student once brought with him a wooden leg in a replica coffin
Is location important for students deciding where to live?
Location is important, but students are also looking for value for money through added extras such as inclusive bills, fast internet and comfortable social space. (Victoria Halls will give you all of these!)
How do you help new students to settle in?
This year we will open our brand new common room so we have lots of exciting events planned!
What is the strangest request you have had from a student?
A student once offered me a Silver Audi to allocate them on a high floor.
What is your best piece of advice for new students?
Come to University with an open mind and say yes to as many things as you can.
What makes Victoria Hall different from other companies?
Our Management Assistant (Amy who students will meet when they move in) is award winning – she won Rate Your Landlord’s Most Valued Support Staff Award.
